Projects are manufactured to customer design requirements and free estimates are provided on every project. Andrew Turner LLP work for both commercial and private clients - from designing and supplying all the handrails for a major Edinburgh housing development, to a single leaf garden gate. Materials used vary from mild steel, cast iron, aluminium to stainless steel, and are able to provide galvanised and powder coated finishes if required.
Andrew Turner Blacksmiths has a client base right across Edinburgh, the Lothians and the Scottish Borders. We have worked on projects for several major construction companies across Scotland, City of Edinburgh Council, The National Trust for Scotland, University of Edinburgh and the Scottish Agricultural College.

The business was originally started by Andrew Turner shoeing horses and repairing agricultural equipment. This gradually developed into working for council and housing associations on regeneration programmes. At the same time the business was building up a private client base, many of whom we still work with today.
Andrew Turner are happy to be involved in local community events. We sponsor the Penicuik Annual Arts Award (Image bottom, right), the Penicuik Rotary Primary Schools Quiz and have helped out many other local organisations.
